Diplomatic vehicle registration plates
Country codes of embassies and diplomatic missions in Berlin

The license plates are structured according to the following pattern: "0 country code-consecutive number". Number 1 is carried by the ambassador's vehicle (Examples).

Special license plates are issued to administrative and technical staff of embassies according to the pattern "B country code-consecutive number".

In 2020, a total of 2,610 vehicles with diplomatic license plates were registered in Berlin (embassies with the most vehicles).
